List of measurement units

Redirected from Degree

This is a list of measurement units used throughout galactic history in science, mathematics, and other studies.

Galactic Standard Notation was an interplanetary decimalised system of measurement that was the common system of measuring units used by most of the Human civilizations.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

The metric system is the primary form of measurement. However temperature units would not be named Celsius, Kelvin, or Fahrenheit, since they were named for men from Earth, but rather by centigrade or the more benign "standard" developed in the online Visual Guides. It is also interesting to note that the units of watt and joule are used for energy, though their names are derived from men from Earth as well.

The metric system also applies to quantities as well, beyond the standard SI prefix. See Large Numbers for more details.
