Delaluna was the moon of Junction V. The people of Junction V and Delaluna made peace after a war shortly before the Clone Wars and joined with the people of Vicondor and Bezim to build the Station 88 Spaceport. This coalition of planets chose to remain loyal to the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars.
Before the Battle of Naboo, the natives of Delaluna were accused of developing a superweapon known as the Annihilator. Although its existence was denied, the people of Junction V lived in fear. The rumor was Started by One of Count Dooku's old friends who was once a jedi padawan. He then created a fear free planet only in fear of his power until Qui Gon Jinn and Obi Wan Kenobi proved it as falsified information.
