Around 247 BBY, Delemede was in debt and a dull place to live. However, as the centuries passed, Delemede came to thrive, and was prosperous by Palpatine's tenth year in office.
It was the homeworld of Bosbit Matarcher, a man who went through a time dilation while traveling through hyperspace, ending up in the year 22 BBY.[3]
