Delilah S. Dawson is an American author who wrote the short stories "The Perfect Weapon," set before the events of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens,[1] and "Scorched," a prequel to Claudia Gray's novel Bloodline, published in Star Wars Insider 165.[2]

It was revealed on April 7, 2017 that Dawson would be one of the authors contributing to the anthology book Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View.[3] It was later announced at Celebration Orlando that she would also write the novel Phasma.[4]

Dawson also wrote the Blud series and the Young Adult novels Servants of the Storm and Hit.[5]
