HistoryEdit

After the Declaration of a New Order, the planet became a top-secret political detention ward where Palpatine imprisoned his political enemies from the Old Republic.^[2]

After the defeat of the Eriadu Authority against the New Republic in 5 ABY, Superior General Sander Delvardus fled to the Deep Core with the remnants of his fleet, including the Executor-class Star Dreadnought Night Hammer. He made Odik II its capital where he spent years to rearm and complete the construction of his Super Star Destroyer.^[3]

Odik II was still Delvardus's capital at the moment of his death in 12 ABY.^[3] When Admiral Daala later visited the planet to rally Delvardus's forces to the Empire, the planet was otherwise abandoned, and the terrain was mostly desert.^[4] Like the other Deep Core systems, the Odik system was abandoned by the Imperial Remnant after the Imperial Reunification.^[3]

Behind the scenesEdit

The Essential Atlas places Delvardus's capital world in the Odik system, identifying Delvardus's planet mentioned in Darksaber as Odik II.
