Demise was a face card that was a part of the standard sabacc deck. It held a value of negative thirteen.

Behind the ScenesEdit

Like most known sabacc face cards it is equivalent to the one of the 22 major arcana in tarot cards, in this case Death (originally known as L'Arcane Sans Nom, "the arcana without a name"). The name of Death is a misnomer and the arcana does not exclusively symbolize death, symbolizing change, metamorphosis and the end of something. Interestingly Death's domain is possessed by the Destroyed Starship for in universe readings.
