Denn Wessex was a male human and one of the first to be appointed to the rank of Moff, or regional governor.

Wessex served as a commander aboard the Venator-class Star Destroyer Redoubt during the Battle of Boz Pity (20 BBY). His courage under Separatist fleet fire made him a hero. Soon after, he married Lira Blissex, a chief designer of the Venator-class.
