Depthsuits were an aquatic-type armor developed for use by the Grand Army of the Republic, during the height of the Clone Wars. These black aqua-suits were made from a flexible material that provided each clone trooper with protection against the intense pressures and temperature changes encountered underwater, allowing them a stealthy access to locations by moving deep underwater
