"You are meddling with things you cannot control; things that nearly destroyed the Jedi millennia ago. We have come to ask you to abandon your evil and return to the light."
"The weak always fear the strong growing up to replace them."
"And the foolish always see themselves as strong."
―Desertwind, Desertwind's opponent, and Nejaa Halcyon prior to the Duel on Susevfi[src]

Desertwind was the name given to the Jedi who accompanied Nejaa Halcyon and Ylenic It'kla on a mission to uncover the Sith in the final months of the Clone Wars. He is so named because he is only named in a Caamasi memnis; the Caamasi species, who possessed an acute sense of smell, tended to identify individuals based on their unique scents. In the ensuing duel, Desertwind killed one of the elite Jensaarai followers of Nikkos Tyris.

Behind the scenesEdit

It was indicated that Obi-Wan Kenobi was supposed to be Desertwind, as the Jensaarai viewed him on the same level as Darth Vader for his role in the Duel on Susevfi and what followed after. However, this duel was also said to happen "shortly after" the Clone Wars, thus conflicting with the course of events in Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.
