HistoryEdit

It contained an inner and outer asteroid belt, two Bespin-class gas giants, one in an outer orbit and the other a sun skimmer, and the planet Despayre. It was in this system that the Galactic Empire completed construction of the battlestation Death Star. The Death Star orbited Despayre until it destroyed the planet using three 33 percent shots.^[2] After being captured above Tatooine, Princess Leia Organa was taken to the Horuz system for interrogation aboard the battlestation.^[5][6]

The system was held by the Yuuzhan Vong during the war named for them.
