Detainer was an Immobilizer 418 cruiser in the Imperial Navy.
Following the collapse of the Galactic Empire at the Battle of Endor, Lieutenant Lon Donell seized command of the Detainer and used it for piracy against New Republic shipping. Donell operated the Detainer from the planet Barpine, and expanded his pirate fleet by capturing New Republic vessels.
Detainer operated on a skeleton crew due to Donell's limited available manpower, and carried a squadron of TIE/ln starfighters, two Skipray Blastboats, and two Gamma-class assault shuttles.
