[edit] Biography
Trained at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, For'deschel joined the Almas Council as the Almas Academy's lightsaber instructor following the death of Kirlocca. She opposed the taking of Padawans from the Academy under the leadership of Darrus Jeht to fight in the Clone Wars. She was at one point attacked by a Separatist Jedi Killer, suffering the loss of an arm before defeating it. Her arm was later replaced with a prosthetic.
In 22 BBY, Mistress Devan was considered the best Jedi in the Almas Academy except for headmaster Lanius Qel-Bertuk. As such, she was selected by Qel-Bertuk as a part of one of the search teams that explored the insides of the Almas Sith fortress looking for three missing Jedi in the attack. Mistress Devan did not take part in the following mission, to rescue two of those Jedi's Force essence. However, she was present during the celebration to honor the heroes of that mission.[2]
Near the end of the Clone Wars, she was present in the Academy when it was attacked by pirates and mercenaries under the command of the Dark Jedi Garth Ezzar. Ezzar engaged her in personal combat and killed her, although she was able to injure him before she fell.[1]
For'deschel had a teal colored lightsaber blade.[3]
