Devils tower was a mountain on Naboo shaped akin to a giant volcano. There was a runway nearby, suggesting the location for a small starfighter corps base or an emergency landing strip. This monument was the source of conjecture for many scientists throughout Naboo and was known throughout the galaxy as being a mysterious monument. Media released posters of the peak and people built models of it frequently.
