Dharus was a renowned pirate who operated along the tourism and trade route from Coruscant to Ebiwaan known as the Leisure Corridor. This hyperlane was heavy with Imperial traffic and therefore Dharus and his Buccaneers had to have great audacity as well as innovative and combat skills. He also had numerous contacts along the route. [1] He had at one time led the mercenary group, the Dhashaan Shield, though he retired sometime before 19 ABY. Though for 30,000 credits a day, he came out of retirement to lead the Shield against the Clatear for the Nhoras.[2]
