One Sith[1]

Dician was a member of the One Sith, a dark-skinned female Human with pale geometric tattoos on her cheeks, and a light musical voice.

During the Second Galactic Civil War of 40 ABY, the New Sith had not yet revealed themselves to the Galaxy at large, but Dician was one of an unknown number of agents operating away from Korriban to further their agenda, using a number of cover identities to deal with outsiders.[1]

Dician took the risk of approaching the Jedi directly, in order to gain access to their information on the Twi'lek renegade Alema Rar. According to her own subsequent report to the Order, she had used the identity of a Corellian Intelligence agent, offering to help the Jedi in their hunt for her, but there is no external corroberation of her account.[1]

When she informed the Order of her actions, many of the other Sith greatly disagreed with her decision, objecting to the idea that she might have aided the Jedi. Dician defended herself on the grounds that the information she had gleaned was worth the risk. White Eyes agreed, giving her command of the frigate Poison Moon for a mission to capture or kill Alema Rar, with orders to capture or destroy Lumiya's asteroid base at The Home, and to take any Sith artifacts she found.[1]

Arriving there, Dician discovered the Millennium Falcon, and opened fired. She regarded Han Solo as an enemy of the Order, and Leia Organa Solo as a traitor to the Skywalker family's Sith birthright, and believed she would gain great prestige amongst the other Sith by killing them.[1]

However, when Alema's Sith Meditation Sphere Ship fled the asteroid, Dician broke off from the engagement with the Millennium Falcon in order to pursue the Sith ship to Ziost. Destroying the Falcon would only have earned her considerable personal prestige, but this was an important and tangible prize.[1]
