The Diligence was a refitted troopship that served the mercenary group Rusher's Brigade.

DescriptionEdit

The ship started out as the Devaronian space cruise liner Vichary Telk, that was retrofitted by the Brigade to carry 3,000 troops as well as their artillery guns.

The ship was fitted with eight artillery cargo pods suspended underneath the main ship, in two clusters of four pods. These could detach with their cargo to land on the battlefield while the gunners disembarked separately. Cannons too big to fit inside the pods, were fastened to the outside.

The ship had a command deck up front and a topside deck for artillery spotters that had been used as a sightseeing deck in its civilian days.

HistoryEdit

The vessel was commanded by Ryland Dackett. Its name was an homage to the Inexpugnable-class tactical command ship Diligence.
