The Directorate was an organization active during the High Republic Era. Lord Isamer was one of its leaders. Working for the Hutts, the Directorate caused a crisis between the planets Eiram and E'ronoh after kidnapping royals from both worlds. Secretly, the Hutts' purpose in hiring the Directorate was to get the organization destroyed by the Jedi and Galactic Republic, which would allow them to move their operations into the Directorate's former area of influence at their leisure.[1]
