The Directors was the name adopted by the three Squibs Grees, Emala, and Sligh in the years following the Yuuzhan Vong War. Establishing a working relationship with the the Colony, they worked out a number of import and export deals in which they received a good percentage of the profit. With a friendship with worlds in the Galactic Alliance, the Squibs double-billing of shipments, gained them high profits.

At the time of the Dark Nest Crisis, it was discovered that the Directors were supplying the Killiks with transport vessels that were being used to stage military coups on the homeworlds of various insectile races. Before things could get out of hand, Han and Leia Organa Solo uncovered the plot and warned the Alliance. Though Thyferra was affected, the Directors lost most of their profit with the destruction of most of their stock.
