Direption was an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer that served under the Warlord Admiral Krennel's fleet in 9 ABY. It was later surrendered to the New Republic.

HistoryEdit

It was originally commanded by a certain Captain Rensen, but when Rensen refused to raze a village which was home to a person who had attempted to assassinate Krennel, he was executed and command was turned over to Commander Vict Darron. Lieutenant Harsis was the sensor officer.

During the Battle of Liinade III, Direption was outnumbered and attacked by three New Republic warships: Freedom and Moonshadow, both Imperial II-class Star Destroyers, and Swift Liberty, a Victory II-class Star Destroyer. In the course of the battle, following the loss of his TIE/LN starfighters and his other support, Darron surrendered Direption in order to save the ship. The New Republic took possession of the severely damaged Star Destroyer.
