A disintegration booth or disintegration chamber was a device used for population control or compulsory self-executions following a decree from the government. These instruments were also employed by the Galactic Empire for executions. These booths operated by disintegrating their victims, leaving nothing behind. The use of this apparatus was archaic and frowned upon by many cultures.
