Disruptor security beams were weapons that shot out thin, red beams of energy that were capable of slicing beings apart. Ilegal on most planets, disruptor beams were used by the criminal organization that controlled Phindar in 44 BBY, the Syndicate. These beams were installed in the storerooms of the Syndicate's headquarters.
