This mining facility was located on the planet Doan and was used by the planet's mining caste. In 980 BBY, when the miners came into conflict with the planet's Royal House, a Jedi Knight, Medd Tandar, was sent to negotiate between the two factions. Tandar met with the miners' leader, Gelba—along with two of Gelba's bodyguards and three of her lieutenants—in the facility, where they began to discuss negotiations. However, an Iktotchi assassin known as the Huntress suddenly arrived and attacked them, quickly dispatching of the miners and then continuing on to kill Tandar as well.
