Doaskin was a planet[4] located in the Doaskin system, a part of the Bruanii sector[1] in the Western Reaches portion of[2] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] During the early years of the reign of the Galactic Empire,[4] which began in 19 BBY,[5] it served as the Tagge Company's primary base for operations in the Greater Javin region.[4] By the time not long after the Battle of Hoth[3] of 3 ABY,[5] Planet Dreams, Incorporated had custom-developed and sold to the House of Tagge a compound at Doaskin, with the company's primary saleswoman Treva Horme being credited with seeing the deal through.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
The name "Doaskin" was introduced in reference to House of Tagge's compound mentioned in Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Roleplaying Game supplement "Rough and Tundra," which was published on Wizards.com on March 25, 2004.[3] 2008's The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia subsequently established it as a planet.[4] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Doaskin system, and therefore the planet, in grid square K-18.[2]
