Dodz

Dodz was a tiny planet in the Outer Rim where R2-D2 and C-3PO were once assigned to the Crystal Merchant, Lott Kemp.It was ruled by a seemingly self appointed Governor, Kugg and his enforcer droid, the Destroyer, but the droids and a young native of the planet, Jost Ellon helped overthrow them. While under Kugg's rule the planet's buildings and structures were mostly demolished by the Destroyer on a day to day basis, making most of the planet unattractive and unappealing to others in the galaxy. Because of its tiny size, even droids made fun of the planet from time to time.
Despite its bleak and barren environment, Dodz was known throughout the galaxy for the wondrous crystals that were mined from its crust.
The core body of the planet's savior, the Ranger X-1 sits atop a hill as a statue in remembrance of when the war droid defeated the Destroyer in battle, leading to the demise of Kugg's rule.
Apparently, guns were outlawed on the planet, as Kugg was able to rule it with the help of a single droid. Those who opposed him were afraid to take action because they had no weapons. Curiously, though, Jost Ellon carried a blaster.
