The Dofine family was an important Neimoidian family from Cato Neimoidia. Well-known members included the Trade Federation members Daultay Dofine and Lushros Dofine, who both held the rank of captain. Daultay was the captain of the Droid Control Ship during the Invasion of Naboo, in 32 BBY. Daultay was killed when Anakin Skywalker internally destroyed the control ship. Daultay was not very bright and he always said things without thinking about them which is the reason he spoke out against Darth Sidious. Lushros was the captain of the Invisible Hand, the Separatist General Grievous's flagship during the Battle of Coruscant in 19 BBY. Lushros was killed when his escape pod was hit by a stray laser blast. Lushros was confident about his ship until its disastrous encounter with the Republic Star Destroyer Guarlara and he did not appear to show any fear for Grievous.
