Doornik-1142, a brown dwarf star, was the primary star of the Doornik-1142 system, located at the edge of the Koornacht Cluster. It was orbited by four gaseous planets.

During a survey of the system, the Astrolabe was destroyed by the Yevetha, who had moved their entire Black Eleven Fleet to the system.
