Doug Chiang is an illustrator and art director.
Biography

A graduate of the UCLA film program, Chiang began his work in the entertainment industry as an animator on Pee Wee's Playhouse and went on to direct a number of award winning television commercials.
In 1989, Chiang joined Industrial Light & Magic as a Visual Effects Art Director and worked on a number of major effects ILM projects.
He left ILM in 1995 to serve as the Design Director for The Phantom Menace and as a Concept Design Supervisor for Attack of the Clones.
Chiang opened his own firm, Doug Chiang Studio, in 2000, where he is currently working on his new book and film project, Robota.
