Dovin Maur was an old man who claimed to have survived the beginning of the New Order and Emperor Palpatine's destruction of the Jedi. Maur revered the Jedi and after relocating to Lazerian IV, he did not reveal the location of the Jedi ruins on the continent of Laz.
