The Dream Runner was a DP20 frigate serving the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War.

DescriptionEdit

The Dream Runner was a Corellian Engineering Corporation gunship,[3] officially designated the DP20 frigate.[2] 120 meters in length, the Dream Runner operated as an anti-starfighter warship, armed with eight double turbolaser cannons and four concussion missile launchers for ship-to-ship combat, and six quad laser cannons for starfighter screening. Equipped with a navigation computer, sensor package and deflector shields, the Dream Runner was capable of achieving speeds of 1,000 kilometers an hour in atmosphere, and possessed a Class 2 hyperdrive for faster-than-light travel with a slower Class 16 unit as a backup. The Dream Runner had storage space for 300 metric tons of cargo aboard, and could carry eight months worth of consumables.[3]

HistoryEdit

The Dream Runner served the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War, assigned to the Trax Sector Force. Around 0 ABY, it participated in the battle of Bissillirus alongside its sister ship, the Corellian Thunder, and the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate Defector.[1]
