Drelliad Village was a small settlement on the norther coast of the island of Avilatan on Ord Mantell during the Cold War.

HistoryEdit

Drelliad Village was founded several decades before the end of the Cold War as the private retreat of Ulla Drelliad, a famous smuggler. After Drelliad's death, the retreat became a successful trading post. During the Ord Mantell Civil War, the village became a hotly contested area, as Republic and separatist forces battled for control of the landing pad that used to be the personal docking bay of Ulla herself. As the village's docking bay was one of the only landing pads outside of the Republic's Fort Garnik, the village was a strategically important location.^[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Drelliad Village, along with the rest of Avilatan, was created for Star Wars: The Old Republic, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game released by BioWare on December 20, 2011. Drelliad serves as the starting location for both the Republic trooper and the smuggler classes.^[2]
