Dren Melne was a Human male from Naboo. As a young man he left his homeworld, becoming a mercenary. He later returned and joined the Naboo Royal Space Fighter Corps, becoming the lover of his commanding officer, Esarra Till.
In 33 BBY he was hired by an Agamari to help steal several N-1 fighters from Station TFP-9 by betraying his squadron. He did so, and was killed in the attack by his own employers after he failed to deliver.
