The Dressellians, a species of mammalian humanoids from Dressel, used primitive hieroglyphs to write their language, until they traded them in favor of the Bothan alphabet. Contrarily to the influence of Bothese on the more romantic Dressellian language, the abandoning of those hieroglyphs was regarded as a positive change by many art critics.[1]
