Dreypa was a Dark Jedi Admiral during the Hundred-Year Darkness and one of the first Sith Lords of the Old Sith Empire. He was also an enemy of another Sith Lord and fellow exile—Karness Muur.

Dreypa, also known as Baron Dreypa, was originally a member of the Jedi Order, but who, along with others, turned to the Dark Side and brought about the conflict knows as the Hundred Year Darkness, in which he was a Admiral of the Dark Jedi fleet. After the Battle of Corbos in 6,900 BBY, Dreypa was the only surviving admiral, and he was exiled with his fellow remaining Dark Jedi, such as Muur, XoXaan, Sorzus Syn, and their leader Ajunta Pall. After their exile, they came to the worlds of Korriban and Ziost where they discovered the native Sith people which they subjugated, declaring themselves the first Sith Lords, and founded a new order dedicated to the Dark Side of the Force.

During his life, he created an oubliette which would cause a being inside it to endure a living death, and was immune to sensors. It was intended to imprison Muur so that the Muur Talisman's influence would not escape from it. This oubliette later came into the possession of Pulsipher who threatened to place Zayne Carrick into it if he did not tell Pulsipher how to use the Talisman.

Muur would curse Dreypa for the oubliette's creation four thousand years after his imprisonment.
