The commando droid personal shield was a hand-held energy shield used by BX-series droid commandos stationed at the Citadel. It is unknown if these shields were used at any other facility. Although they blocked blaster fire, they offered no protection against physical matter. They sported an elongated hexagon design and were somewhat similar in appearance to the Confederate Roundel.
