A species of plant which produced a purple glow grew on the Sith Empire's capital planet of Dromund Kaas near the capital city of Kaas during the Great Galactic War. The plant was grey in color and nearly spherical in shape with several large openings over its surface from in which emanated a purple glow.

The Dromund Kaas glowing plant was one of the many plants found in the player areas on the planet Dromund Kaas in the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic released by BioWare in 2011. It is never canonically named or mentioned in the game.
