In 44 ABY, a duel occurred in the courtyard of the Dark Force Temple on the planet Dromund Kaas between Sith Sabers affiliated with the dark side entity Abeloth and representatives of the Jedi Order.

The duelEdit

Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker, his son Ben, niece Jaina Solo, and the outcast Sith apprentice Vestara Khai were searching for Abeloth and members of Khai's Sith Tribe when they were ambushed by ten Sabers who had defected from the Tribe to join Abeloth. The Sabers, led by Khai's father, Gavar, attacked the Jedi. In the ensuing duel, the Jedi defeated the Sith without a single casualty, although the younger Khai was forced to kill her father. Afterward, Khai opted to join the Jedi Order.
