The Duel on Socorro was a confrontation between Sith Lord Darth Talon and Imperial Knight Elke Vetter in 137 ABY.

After being formally elevated to the rank of Sith Lord and named one of his Hands, Darth Krayt sent Darth Talon to the planet Socorro. Her mission was to capture Princess Marasiah Fel and use her to get to Krayt's true target, the deposed Emperor Roan Fel.

Darth Talon attacked the Imperial Mission temple located on Socorro, setting it on flames. She was prevented from getting to Princess Marasiah by Elke Vetter, Marasiah's bodyguard and Master, who sought to stall Talon, giving the princess and Astraal Vao, an Imperial Missionary, enough time to escape the planet.
Talon defeated Vetter, cutting off one of her hands and stabbing her in the leg in the process. Then, Talon ripped out Princess Fel's whereabouts from Vetter's mind. Without further use for Vetter, Talon killed her with Force lightning.
