Dungeoneer armor was the armor issued to Imperial Dungeoneers. There were two types of armor; in low threat, minimum security situations, the Dungeoneers were issued with light versions of Imperial Army trooper field armor. It was comprised of chest piece, helmet, and shoulder guards. In more threatening security situations, Dungeoneers were issued with full protection body armor. The helmet featured an internal comlink which also transmitted life signs, and audio and visual records. The helmet also had a motion sensor with a range of ten meters. Both types of armor featured a unique buckle armor fastener that could only be removed with an electronic key that was kept in the guards' barracks. This feature was to stop prisoners from acquiring the armor and trying to disguise themselves in case of a jailbreak.
