Duro Starshipwright Shipyards were a number of orbital shipyards over the planet of Duro. They were very large stations, capable of accommodating a wide variety of starships. They were operated by the Duro Shipwrights Guild.

Duro Delta Twelve or DD 12 was one of these shipyards. In 0 BBY, shortly before the destruction of Alderaan, a Rebel diplomat named Thel Erelen organized a secret meeting with Duros executives here, including Serrol Gathip, which was crashed by the Empire. Sedret Fain, an Imperial agent with COMPNOR, had discovered the meeting using Duros spies. Unfortunately for the Empire, Rebel operatives defeated the COMPNOR forces and convinced Gathip to aid the Rebellion.

DD12 was huge, out-dated, and under-utilized. During the Galactic Civil War, it became a common location for criminal meetings and the fencing of stolen goods.
