Dust durni was a slang term used to refer to a large pile of dust. Its name refers to the durni, whose soft fur coat may have reminded someone of the soft nature of dust.

HistoryEdit

The exact origin of the term is unknown. However, in 1 ABY, a spacer who was visiting the Nova Orion Station searched the station for all the dust durnis on the station, cleaning them up as they went. For removing them all, they were rewarded with a feather duster. Another spacer later performed a similar task on Tansarii Point Station.

Behind the scenesEdit

Dust durnis are an interactive object in Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided that players can collect. The name is a reference to the term "dust bunnies" here on Earth, as durnis and rabbits are similar in appearance.
