Dybersyne was a manufacturer of magnetic rings. Working with the EngSat Complex, it began production on the largest focusing magnet ever built, which was to be used for the Death Star's primary weapon.

The name 'Dybersyne' is almost certainly a play on 'Cyberdyne', the company in The Terminator movies that constructed the T-800 Terminator and the genocidal supercomputer Skynet.
