"Dyre" was the nickname of a Galactic Republic clone trooper living during the Clone Wars.[3] A clone of the Human male bounty hunter Jango Fett, Dyre was born on the planet Kamino, and stood 1.83 meters fully-grown.[1] In 21 BBY,[2] Dyre was assigned, along with Captain Lock and Jedi Master Ring-Sol Ambase, to a mission to Kynachi. Upon arrival, their ship was ambushed and destroyed by Confederacy of Independent Systems droid starfighters. Dyre's escape pod crashed on the planet. He was later killed in an ambush by B1 battle droids.[3]
