E'thinaa was a general of the Ssi-ruuvi Imperium as of 28 ABY. However, following the Fourth Battle of Bakura, Molierre Cundertol discovered that E'thinaa was actually a disguised Yuuzhan Vong. Cundertol was later destroyed by other Vong warriors.
Whether E'thinaa had always been a Vong, or had been replaced by one at some point, is unknown. What little is vaguely known is that the Yuuzhan Vong had launched an invasion of the Ssi-ruuvi Imperium in coordination with their attacks on the known galaxy. This invasion saw the massacre of about a thousand Ssi-ruuvi as well as the destruction of all technology that the Vong came across.
