The eastern swamps was an area of Naboo that was the only know location of the perlote tree and slug-beetle. It was beneath these swamps that the Confederacy of Independent Systems established an underground laboratory for Doctor Nuvo Vindi to create the Blue Shadow Virus. Its grid co-ordinates were SP1-2-7.
