Ecclessis Figg was a spacer, explorer, and eventually wealthy businessbeing.

After marrying Yarith, a lower house Alderaanian noblewoman, Figg founded the Outer Javin Company responsible for the exploration of the remote Greater Javin, the charting of new hyperspace routes through the Twin Nebulae, establishment of the Anoat Sector, and the construction of Cloud City.
The company Figg Excavations, which worked in the Greater Javin area, was named for him, as was the Ecclessis Figg Room.
