Baron Edi Wedd was a commander for the Confederacy of Independent Systems and a native of the planet Amaltanna. He led his forces during the Battle of Amaltanna. He had a large fortress there. During the battle, Edi remained safe inside his fortress; however, the fortress became his tomb when Bultar Swan destroyed the control panel to the door of his saferoom, locking him in.
