Eekar Oki was a male Mon Calamari Jedi who served the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. Around 21 BBY, Oki and several other Jedi viewed a transmission from Confederate General Grievous to the Jedi Temple showing his torture of Jedi Master Eeth Koth. The Mon Calamari Jedi was later present during the vote for the Republic financial reform bill, the return of a group of Jedi Padawans from their imprisonment on the moon Wasskah, and the funeral for the victims of the Bombing of the Jedi Temple Hangar.
Biography[]
Eekar Oki, a male Mon Calamari, served as a Jedi during the waning years of the Galactic Republic.[2] Around 21 BBY,[3] during the Clone Wars, the Confederate General Grievous captured Jedi High Council member Eeth Koth near the Arda system. Oki and several other Jedi were present in the Jedi Temple communication center when Grievous sent a holographic transmission to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. The transmission showed Koth being tortured by the cyborg General.[1]
Later during the war,[4] the Galactic Senate voted to deregulate the Republic's banks, and, following the vote, Oki spoke with fellow Jedi Anakin Skywalker inside the Senate Building on Coruscant.[5] The Mon Calamari Jedi was also present when Jedi Padawans Jinx, O-Mer, and Ahsoka Tano arrived on Coruscant after they were rescued by a group of Wookiees from imprisonment on the Trandoshan moon Wasskah.[6]
When the Jedi Temple's hangar was bombed by an unknown assailant, Oki—along with many other Jedi, senators and Republic personnel—attended the funeral of the Jedi killed in the event.[7]
Personality and traits[]
Oki had blue skin and black eyes.[1]
