Eelen Li was a Triffian who served as a representative of the Triffians of her homeworld in the Galactic Senate of the Republic at some point during Palpatine's tenure as Senator of Naboo.

Upon learning of Palpatine's love of antiquities, Senator Li gave him a near-prehistoric stone carving of a Triffian, from one of her homeworld's museums. Palpatine kept it on display in his apartments in 500 Republica.
