Eirt Astar was a male Sullustan member of the Alliance to Restore the Republic who lived during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Although he wore a rank insignia representing the rank of general in the Alliance Army, he was referred to as Captain Eirt Astar. Sometime following the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, he was stationed in a small base in the Agrilat crystal swamps on Corellia. Around this time, he was killed by Imperial agents.

Eirt Astar was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online-role playing game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.
