Ekria was an orphaned female near-Human Jedi Padawan and Commander from Baroli during the Clone Wars.

Following the deaths of their masters, she and fellow Padawans Zonder and Drake Lo'gaan were put under the command of Barriss Offee and Aayla Secura, Jedi Generals during the Clone Wars. An expert computer slicer, Ekria accompanied Secura to Felucia to rescue Offee from Commerce Guild imprisonment. While Offee and Secura were cut down by clone troopers executing Order 66, Ekria managed to escape along with Drake and Zonder. The three orphaned Padawans stuck together and struggled to survive the Great Jedi Purge.

Taking refuge on Coruscant, she used her slicer skills to hack the Jedi Temple Archives and erased all records of herself and her two companions. After an attempt to save Drake from the clutches of Darth Vader, she was cut down by a group of stormtroopers. Ekria survived the encounter however, putting an industrial conducting suit on before trying to save Drake; her final fate is unknown.

The character of Ekria was created by Paul Ens, who has stated that his favorite Star Wars character is Zakarisz Ghent. Ekria and Ghent (Thrawn Trilogy depiction) look very similar; they have the same hair color and facial tattoos. It has yet to be revealed if the two characters are somehow related.
