Ekria was an individual whose name was carved on the wall of a safehouse on the planet Mapuzo[1] used by the Hidden Path, and on the wall of another facility they used on the planet Jabiim. The Path was a network that smuggled Force-sensitives and Jedi away from the Galactic Empire[2] in 9 BBY.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
In the current Star Wars canon, Ekria was introduced in "Part III" of Obi-Wan Kenobi, released on June 1, 2022.[1] In Star Wars Legends continuity, Ekria was a Jedi Padawan[4] who survived the Great Jedi Purge and eventually renounced her Jedi legacy, preparing to live out the rest of her life as an ordinary person.[5] She first appeared in Reversal of Fortune, a series of daily webstrips published on Hyperspace October 2004 through June 2005, written by Paul Ens and illustrated by Thomas Hodges.[4]
